Beberapa mengatakan jika hidup ini perlu di hitung dan beberapa lainnya berujar, sudahlah, jalani saja hidup ini. Toh waktu terus berlalu tanpa kompromi.
Beberapa jam kedepan, semua manusia di rumah besar bersama ini, akan menanggalkan angka 2015 dan memasang urutan nomor 2016. Peristiwa pergantian angka-angka ini di peringati sebagai tahun baru oleh banyak penghuni rumah besar yang di sebut Bumi ini. Aneka cara di lakukan memeriahkan pergantian angka itu. Para kaum sekuler dan kaum religius, masing - masing mempunyai laku untuk meramaikan pergantian angka-angka itu. Semua mencurahkan energi, daya bahkan bathin (jiwa) untuk memeriahkannya. Entah sejak kapan laku seperti ini menjadi milik semua penghuni rumah besar kita. Coba anda perhatikan beaya untuk laku semacam ini. Kembang api, mercon/petasan, pementasan aneka kreasi tari dan biduan, Makanan ringan sampai yang berat di terima tubuh pun tersaji dimana-mana, demikian halnya dengan minuman ringan sampai yang memabukkan pun terhidang tiap saat. Hitunglah beayanya dan jangan lupa kerugian yang musti di tanggung bersama akibat penumpukan dan sebaran sampah dimana-mana, kerusakan taman dan tanaman, belum lagi polusi kembang api beserta asap mencon/petasan, juga konsumsi BBM jenis apa saja sudah pasti meningkat dalam beberapa jam nanti. Mengerikan bukan? Itu beaya real tahun 2015 kemaren! Bagaimana di tahun 2016 ini...saya perkirakan akan melonjak sampai US $ 150-an juta.

Tapi aneh...tidak banyak (kalau tidak mau di katakan tidak ada!) ahli-ahli dan Penenliti Lingkungan alam yang melihat ini sebagai 'kekompakan pemborosan bersama dan keakuran meracuni udara dan alam' yang musti kita tentang atau minimal di kecilkan kegiatannya. Saya menyebut cara pesta menyambut tahun baru ini, sebagai 'DOSA ABORSI' untuk generasi mendatang.
Lalu apakah penting soal hitung-hitungan tahun itu? Seperti merayakan ulang tahun? menyambut tahun baru? (termasuk tahun baru agama-agama lainnya?) Pentingkah menjawab : Berapa usia Bumi? Berapa umurmu? Tahun berapa sekarang? Atau tahun berapa kamu lahir? Tahun berapa negara Indonesia di proklamirkan? Seperti judul panjang diatas. Beberapa orang katakan itu penting, tetapi beberapa yang lain mengatakan, sudalah, jalani saja toh waktu terus berlalu.
Nach mari kita berefleksi pendek, meski tidak terlalu pendek, tapi di banding sebuah Kotbah para rohaniawan, fefleksi ini pasti lebih pendek, hehehehehehe.

Pergantian siang malam di rumah kita berlaku 24 jam dan tiap tahun berlaku 365 hari sekali memutari Mentari. Itu di Bumi kita. Bagaimana dengan di Planet lainnya? Bagaimana di mentari (bintang-bintang lainnya)? Yang menurut para angkasawan, tiap bintang-bintang di luar sana masing-masing memilki gugusan planet (satelit), yang. masih menurut para angkasawan itu, bintang terdekat dari bumi (Proxima
Centauri) jaraknya 4,4 tahun cahaya sama dengan 40.000.000.000.000 km. Untuk menuju bintang terdekat itu misalnya, kita butuh kecepatan 10.000 x kecepatan suara, sementara tehnologi transportasi yang kita miliki sekarang ini baru 5 x kecepatan suara.
Achh, kembali saja ke topik utama, supaya tidak pusing mikirin perkalian itu.
Planet terdekat dengan rumah kita ialah ialah Mars dan Venus. Tahukah anda berapa waktu ke-dua planet itu mengelilingi Matahari?
Mars misalnya, sekali tahun baru di sana 686, 9 hari, artinya umur anda jika tinggal di Mars separuh dari usia yang sekarang, jika saat membaca tulisan ini usia anda 50 tahun maka di Mars anda baru 25 tahun, keren kan?
Nach bagaimana di Venus? kalau mau lebih tua dari usia anda sekarang, silahkan ke Venus sebab disana sekali setahun hanya 224,7 hari. hebat bukan? Anda sudah 80-an tahun heheheheh. Kemudian bagaimana dengan Merkurius yang sangat dekat dari Matahari? Wah disana anda akan berusia ribuan tahun (sekitar 2850 tahun), sebab sekali setahun di Merkurius, hanya 57,5 hari. Maka anda jadi salah satu manusia tertua hehehehehe.
